When you're not their biggest fan

Its always a good sign when your favourite band comes on the radio the moment you turn it on.

However, its not a good sign when you claim to be their "biggest fan" and it takes you ages to recognise the song.

Like me.

Muse came on the radio. Looking back on it now, it was obvious it was the song "Resistance" their title track of their new album.

However, at the time it was still obvious, but I simply did not know it.

Stupid I know.

My heart sank and I realised that (shock) I might not be their biggest fan.

:'(

So now I am listening to Muse on constant replay and remembering the title.

But I can't be the only one.

Its not like I'm obsessed with, say, Owl City and would instantly be able to recognise Hello Seattle. Not pointing any fingers there. >_>

But I realised that even though Muse is my muse (muse is inspiration) for my guitar and writing work, I don't have to be their biggest fan to appreciate their music.

Sure I have 5 Muse posters, my very first blog was on them, my icon is Matt (<3) and I listen to their songs everyday, I'm not their biggest fan.

So now, I'm taking every step possible to become their biggest fan simply because I want to :)
